IA WORKSHOP - INTRODUCTION TO ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR - 24 AUGUST 2014

Thursday, 7 August 2014

Adobe Illustrator’s huge range of digital drawing features makes it a favorite amongst Illustrators and Print Designers. If you have never used Adobe Illustrator or have the program and don’t know where to start, this is the workshop for you! To help set you on your path to Illustrator mastery, Margaret will run through beginner-level Illustrator step by step, covering the basic tools and techniques.  Attendees will have the opportunity to create finished images that are flexible and scalable.

Margaret Krajnc is a freelance Illustrator, Designer and Performer with a love for circus. Her illustrations often portray a story that has a quirky sense of humour. She loves using a variety of media, particularly Adobe Illustrator to bring her characters to life. Margaret has taught in a number of TAFE Institutes in Melbourne to people of all ages in a variety of creative areas - digital and traditional media including circus skills.

You need basic computer knowledge, preferably Apple Mac computers, to get the most out of this workshop.

You will need to bring the following: Pen and pencil, note pad, memory stick.

BYO lunch, snacks and drinks.

Margaret will supply images from her own library but feel free to bring your own photo reference that you could use.

Note: This workshop will be run on Adobe Illustrator CC, but will be relevant for other versions of Adobe, from CS2 - CS6, as the basic functions have not changed.
