Storyboarding… a remarkably useful step for unraveling the confusion of a big project. From film and TVC storyboards that help the crew understand where to set up cameras at dawn, to storyboards that transform a dull manuscript into a picture book.
This course is designed to give you practical information and knowledge about why you need storyboards and how to arrange and compose storyboards for picture books and film/TV. In context to the theme Elizabeth will be showing and talking about her own work and you will then be given the afternoon to work on your own storyboard where you will receive feedback and advice.
Elizabeth has learnt fantastic film storyboarding skills from plunging in and working with some brilliant Australian directors. Aleksi Vellis (Wog Boy), Cannes Lion winning directors at Exit Films, and Chicago Film Festival and New York Film Festival winning director Ben Gartland. With many practical industry tips to share.
