Wen Dixon-Whiley

Wen Dixon-Whiley is an Illustrator and Visual Artist working in the Adelaide Hills, South Australia. With a Bachelor of Illustration Design and Master of Visual Art and Creative Practice, Wen has participated in multiple group and solo exhibitions both in Australia and internationally and her illustration clients have included Pirate Life Beer, Hayes Family Wines, Rubberside Down, Vinteloper Wines and more. She is often found working from her studio at the Hahndorf Academy in South Australia.

Tracing her influences back to 80’s street art as well as graphic illustrative styles from 90’s popular culture, Dixon-Whiley’s energetic works are executed in multiple mediums and scales as she explores the best modes of expression. Her practice incorporates drawing, painting, installation and experimental methods  ranging from unbroken and unhesitant mark-making through to more detailed, illustrative works.
