If you are having trouble with your account, try out our Support and Answer section below or search in the resources — we may have an article that can help.

We are volunteer-run organisation, it might take us a little while to get back to you. Thank you for your patience.

Other Arts Organisations

We would like to acknowledge all the other wonderful arts organisations in Australia and the region. Especially the Australian Cartoon Association (ACA), NAVA (National Association of Visual Artists), the Australian Copyright Agency (also the ACA) and Arts Law Centre of Australia, whom we highly recommended.

If you would like to partner with us, we would love explore that.

Support and Answers

Our most common support questions are listed below.

Create an account or if you already have an account, go to the Login page and enter the email address and password you originally used to sign up to Illustrators Australia. If you’ve forgotten your sign in details, you can recover them by following the prompts.

If you’ve an existing member, just use the username and password you used to log in to our old website. Nothing has changed apart from you no longer need to login to TidyHQ (which we no longer use, phew!). You can still use these name and password to log in to this new website.

We keep you signed in even if you close your browser, so remember to sign out if you’re on a public computer, by clicking ‘Log out’ in your account.

If you’ve forgotten your password, your can recover your account by visiting Reset Password. Enter the email address you use to sign in, and we’ll send you a link to create a new password. (If the email doesn’t arrive within a few minutes, check your spam or junk folder, it may have landed there.)

If you don’t remember the email address you used to sign up, please email us and we’ll be happy to help.

Look for the star icon on any image in a member’s portfolio and click it to add that piece to your favourites.

You can also save an artist to one or more lists that you create.

You’ll need to be signed in to do this, but you don’t need to be a paying member — these bookmarking tools are available to free accounts. To create an account, just star a work or save an artist, and follow the prompts.

Our Resources hub has articles on copyright, pricing, contracts and more.

Resources marked with a lock icon are for members only — sign in with an active member account to unlock them.

If you have a free account, you can gain access to members only resources by applying for membership. If you’re already a member but your membership has lapsed, simply complete checkout via your account to regain access to members only resources.

We’re always on the lookout for people ready to lend a hand!

Visit our Committee and Volunteers page to see our current open roles and what’s involved.

Some roles are open to anyone, and some are for members only — each listing shows which applies.

If nothing’s currently open but you have an idea of how you can contribute, please reach out to the office and let us know!

On our updated website you have two types of accounts. Member accounts (for which you need to become a member) which means you can have a profile and portfolio our website. You need to apply and be approved for membership first. See more here.  We also provide free ‘client’ accounts for publishers, editors, authors, creative directors and designers, artists or anyone who’d like to keep track of their favourite works and artists using our tools.

You’ll be prompted to create a free account the first time you favourite an image or save an artist while signed out — just enter your email address to get started. It’s  purely for bookmarking work you like, and you can view and manage everything you’ve saved any time from the Favourites page.

And if you’re an existing member who wants to favourite works and bookmark your favourite artists — great news! This feature is available to you too.
