Hey, I’m Kat Potter …and I love colour!

I’m on a mission to make the world a happier, brighter place! So drawing and designing (and seeing it out there in the big beautiful world) gives me an incredible amount of joy. I'm all about infusing my art with bold, bright colours and playful, whimsical vibes that draw on the everyday adventures and happy memories that make life so special. 

I studied Visual Art straight out of high school, majoring in illustration. It was there I learnt and developed a love of digital art and design, which led me toward a career in the printing and graphic design industry. An industry I’ve worked in for the past 20 years. I’ve freelanced on and off during that time and started my Graphic Design and Illustration business “Little Black Kat Creative” in 2014 as a side biz. 

After taking Little Black Kat Creative full time in 2020, my style has developed and is very much targeted toward childrens products and brands.

I am available to;
- Create brand visuals (logos, illustrations and supporting brand designs) for businesses.
- Illustrate and design surface patterns and placement illustrations for clothing, products and packaging.
- Illustrate for childrens books.
