Maria Pena

I have been a storyboard artist and illustrator in the Australian advertising industry for more than 27 years.  With more than 15 years experience working with film directors I have developed a filmmaker’s instinct for sequential storytelling.  I work digitally, mainly on Photoshop CC,  and was one of the first storyboard artists to swap traditional markers and paper for a computer, back in 1997. My arsenal of tools now include 3D applications like Poser, DAZ3D and Sketchup, and others like Toon Boom Storyboard Pro, for quick animated storyboards, and Clip Studio Paint for Comic book style work.  In my free time I love urban sketching and painting.
