Mateja Jager

I am a Slovene illustrator, currently living in Sydney.

Creating, especially drawing, has been my passion for as long as I can remember.

I studied fashion and textile design in Ljubljana and have been working on various creative projects
including fashion and graphic design for the past 20 years.

In 2011 I had an amazing opportunity to illustrate children’s book of poems for one of the most amazing Slovene writers, Svetlana Makarovic.
That’s when I fell in love with illustration and realised that there is nothing I want to do more.

My illustrations were published in books, magazines and on greeting card.​
