Natalie Michelle Watson

Natalie Michelle Watson specialises in comics, cards, and freelance illustration. She is known especially for her critically acclaimed serial comic, ‘Drongo’, bringing her nostalgic sensibilities from Melbourne’s North-West to the world.

Natalie is highly inspired by the Australian zeitgeist of the 80s and 90s, as well as international art movements such as Memphis Milano and Pop Art. Her work is easily distinguishable, featuring tongue-in-cheek, old school humour, and a bold colour palette. Other notable projects include the internationally successful ‘Tiny Tatts’, and hilarious ‘Show Dogs’.
