In November 2004 Peter was recognised by his peers for his editorial work for APN News and Media and was awarded the ACA’s Stanley Award for Editorial Cartoonist Of The Year. It was Peter’s first major award and second time as a finalist for Cartoonist Of The Year. In 2005 Peter was again recognised for his editorial work with his second editorial Stanley Award. This was followed up with the Gold Stanley for Cartoonist Of The Year, the first time a South Australian received the award. In 2009 Peter was again recognised by his peers with the editorial Stanley Award and the Gold Stanley for Cartoonist Of The Year at the 25th Stanley Awards held in Darling Harbour, Sydney. Peter has collaborated with Hachette, Pan MacMillan and a host of smaller publishers over the years. He still hates going over the line when he colours in.
