Illustrators Australia aims to promote the value and defend the rights of illustrators. To raise the standards and respect due to the illustration profession and insist they are upheld. Our role is to advocate for illustrators including: better rights, acknowledgment, respect and pay.
Illustrators Australia sets out to create standards in the industry from a Codes of Conduct to Example Contracts and Rates of Pay. These resources are freely available to our members and community. We work with other organisations to develop resources and advocate for illustrators, arts and culture more widely too.
We can advise businesses, publishers, government agencies, educational facilities and other organisations on best practice to protect and respect illustrators rights.
